About us
The JAS trans company started business in 1991 and since then our fleet has increased to 30 vehicles. We provide full truck transports, unit shipments and complex services associated with transportation.
Our vehicles meet the requirements of emission classes EURO 6, because we realize the influence that they have on the environment. Using modern on-board telematic systems we watch and control the economy of each truck. This system is also able to suggest the most effective route, control the working process of a driver and enable our dispatch department to be continuously connected with the truck.
As well as this all of our drivers are periodically trained on road safety.
Lorry transport
Currently we own 30 trucks and trailers (VOLVO, SCANIA trucks and Schwarzmüller trailers). Most of our vehicles are double-deck tilt trailers, which are ideal for transportation of light and fragile goods (it is possible to load 66 EWP or 52 nautical palettes, to a total load weight of 24,5 t). This means that we can carry more goods and that the transport is cheaper and more ecological. This kind of transport is suitable for long journeys accross the Europe, where many fees are paid: toll, tunnels, ferries etc.
Every load is insured for up to EUR 600.000,- according to CMR Convention. It is also insured against theft (see the insurance policy).
Services
If our vehicles capacity is not enough, we arrange a load transport with another carrier. This is performed only by the approval of the customer. Transportation is given only to reliable companies (load insurance, fleet quality). Any other mediation to third party is forbidden.
Bulk material transport and ground works
Our fleet includes one DAF CF „S3“ tipping truck (12-25 m3 /28 t), two TATRA T-815 „S3“ tipping trucks (10-20 m3 / 25 t), a CAT 303 TCR digger, a DH 112 digger. For transport of rubble, soil and other building material we have a Mercedes-Benz ATEGO with a container.
We also dispose of asphalt cutter and other landscaping machines.
